July 31- Aug 7 I attended a leadership course for mountaineering sponsored by North Face and the Alpine Club of Canada. This was the summit of Mount Vestal climbed with the girls from course. And for the picture, we all wear our new North Face Jackets.
The camp was located south of Glacier National Park in the Southern Selkirks and we flew in by helicopter. Quite remote and an area that hardly anyone sees made this week very special. During a couple of skills days and a few climbing days, we learned lots of new techniques abut how to take other people into mountain terrain.
