Although it already seems a long time ago that we were on this trip (March 9th- 11th), I would like to post-post these images to our blog. Thanks Stephane for your contribution of these pictures! Therefore especially for you a story in English!
We left the car behind, our destination written in dust. After a few exhausting hours with a 20 kg backpack we had to fight with a steep section. The boys managed it with their ski's on..... and the girls took their ski's off. Even the climbing skins did not help us overcome this steep part. Is Linda holding on to a branch instead of her ski-poles? Soon we rise above tree line and travel becomes better. Next day on the glacier we were spoiled with these great views.
