Bram and I went for some early season ice at Ranger Creek in Kananaskis Country. It was exciting to swing the tools in the ice and it felt quite winter up there.....

Bram's Birthday

Last week we celebrated Bram's 31st birthday. I rented a jacuzzi suite at Baker Creek Chalets and it was a real treat! The cabin was in a very rustic style as you can see. The kitchen was really small but luckily we did all the cooking at home: African spiced tomato soup, Moroccan lamb stew, home made bread, humus and much more. Our friends Marty and Caz came over for dinner and it turned out to be a really relaxed day. The next day we got on our mountain bikes and we discovered some early ice in the creeks around Lake Louise. Winter is around the corner!
